Evenflow
Description
The Wyma Evenflow Hopper ensures on time demand and surge storage for even the fastest of baggers. The Evenflow is a combination conveyor and hopper in one. The rear of the conveyor can be lowered, transforming the conveyor into a small hopper, allowing for produce storage. This assists in eliminating small surges in product flow and allows a line to maintain a normal speed even when the in-feed flow is greater than the out-feed flow.
Ultrasonic sensors detect the product build up and automatically lower the conveyor to create a produce storage area. When the produce backlog has cleared, the conveyor will automatically lift, returning it to normal conveyor mode. This automatic conveyor height adjustment helps to minimize produce fall height and reduces potential product damage.
