Mega-Polisher
Description
Wyma’s Mega-Polisher™ is the world’s largest and most effective vegetable polishing machine. The Mega-Polisher™ has two 3.0m long (9.8’) drums, each with 16 brush rows positioned back to back and connected by a sliding transition. This configuration provides significantly increased polishing within a smaller footprint whilst reducing the cost of integration equipment (i.e., conveyors/elevators/flumes/chutes) commonly used to connect one standard Vege-Polisher™ to another.
With its enhanced polishing capability (particularly on carrots), the Mega-Polisher™ can considerably improve the appearance of your fresh vegetables, resulting in a greater percentage of packed premium produce and an increased presence on retailers’ shelves. Wyma also supply recycling/filtration systems to fit the Mega-Polisher™. These systems significantly reduce water consumption.
Our experience with both the rotary brush barrel technology – which we invented almost 20 years ago – and with the specific brush design for our machines, combine to ensure your vegetables are washed and polished to the highest retailing standards.
