Hedgehog

Description

The Wyma Hedgehog removes carrot tops, leaves, grass and other debris from a produce line.
Green carrot top, debris, leaves and/or grass are separated from the carrots or other produce by rubber fingers on the belt. Once separated the waste can be accumulated in a waste bin or conveyed away from the Hedgehog on a waste conveyor.

• The angle of operation is adjustable between 40-60 degrees to suit different types of vegetables or the quality of the carrot tops being removed

• Railed position guides to maintain flow clearances when the Hedgehog angle is adjusted (for different vegetable conditions)

Suitable For

Predominantly used for carrot lines. Also effective with other types of produce where top and grass is a problem.
